Hi, I have a my00 uk turbo and mine also makes this noise, usually if I've been driving forward and then when i reverse if I press the break it makes a clicking noise :wonder: Been told it is nothing to worry about :) It also does it on my mates 97 wrx import.

My 05 blob does this when reversing onto my drive. Rear shocks maybe ! I know mine are on the way out anyway !

Definately not shocks on mine, sounds like the brake pad moving ever so slightly! I did get an explanation for it but cant think what it was? :wonder: :lol1:

Hi I hve an 03 WRX, mine made a noise when i applied the brakes a few months back - i took the front wheels off and noticed that the pads were getting low and the metal clip tells you it is getting low was touching the disc, i bent this back out and the noise has stopped!! Perhaps worth having a look mate....since then new discs and pads all ok

My rears do it on MY03 STI. It started happening since I fitted the performance friction pads.
