MD304 Lateral Turbo

Here we have a very rare MD304 which is a Lateral Performance/Turbo Dynamics hybrid. Effectively and VF/Garrett Hybrid (rollerbearing). Was rebuilt some 6k ago before it went on my wagon.

These can produce 360/370 bhp with excellent spool. Made 1 bar by 3k on my car and full boost by 3400 rpm and this is on a standard 2.0. Therefore on par performance with a 18g but with better spool, imo a far better option for a mid range turbo. It only ran up to 1.3 bar on mine as it just about maxed out my 440's at that boost.

So I reckon this has got to be worth £400 + delivery.

Mark probably had some different specs. If I was to estimate power on mine I would say approx 330 @ just 1.3 bar. 360 is deffo more like their prime operating range with the right level of boost.

Nice 1/4 btw, just shows how good this turbo is. Makes a very nice road car turbo too
