prodrive or not
 

mornin chaps.looking at a couple of facelift saloons weekend.wondered if the prodrive bit is on the v5 logbook.how is it possible to check if its a real one or not etc.ones a 98 saloon and others a 99.both have the prodrive interiors and alloys but that dont mean much.
need the powers to be,cherrs.:thumb:

I don't think you'll find any mention of it on the logbook as it was an after market upgrade, but it should have come with a certificate when fitted by the dealer , but I guiess over the years this could have been lost. If I remember correctly part of the upgrade was a new 'highflow' intercooler hose which was a different colour (red or blue or something), this coupled with the part decat and back box may help to indentify a PPP car . I'm sure someone else will come along to confirm this (or shoot it down in flames :D)

ive bought it.
its on the paperwork as an impreza prodrive wr.full "recaro" prodrive interior,wr sport on the dash dials,wr on the wings and rear boot,speedline 17" prodrive alloys,shortshifter etc.
sounds pretty genuine chaps.full hpi clear.90k facelift on a 98 s reg.

if thats the case then yes it is a wr sport prodrive.i will check the ecu to see if its got prodrive sticker on it.its been dyno'd at 241.8 brake so presume its had the power package as well.can these ecu's be mapped.
