I got the Mrs to order me some tyres last week well she was on line and guess what, the wrong size has turned up! :lol1:
Anyway i now have 2 Falken-542 215/40/16's to replace the worn fronts but ive got half worn 205/50/16's on the rear :brickwall how will this effect the handling and would it be better to put the wider tyres on the rear? |

You have to have the same circumference tyre on all 4 wheels on a scoob (or pretty damn close depending on wear). So you can't mix 215/40/16 and 205/50/16's on the same Scoob. Ask any tuner and I'd be suprised if they didn't say the same (unless it was a non standard diff). Buy new tyres dude... :thumb: |
Have a look here
Tire size calculator There is over a 5% difference with the new tyres, and I guess it will mess up your 4WD system eventually, as c-o-b says. |
Oh bugger!!! 2 more tyres it is then and a good spanking for the Mrs :D
Cheers fella's |
