British Gas is trying to improve its image ....

I hate BG with a vengence .... along with BT and CURRYS.

BG ring me agains and again and again and again trying to sell me drainage cover, tap cover, sewage cover, fixed price tariffs ..... everything, I half expect them to suggest they could supply me a 'Lady of the Night'! :D

BT - well, they are just plain obnoxious!

CURRYS - Customer Service from the depths of Hell, only nastier!

I know SKY and TALK TALK have really bad Customer Service, but I have steered clear of them.

Who do you hate?

Devildog 24 November 2009 01:46 PM

People who post innane drivel on internet bulletin boards...............

:D

SunnySideUp 24 November 2009 01:48 PM

You shouldn't be too harsh on yourself DD :D

mamoon2 24 November 2009 01:49 PM

All the Energy companies generally

18 year old Mobile Phone "salespeople" who think they know it all

BT

Dominos Pizza - Can't cook a thin crust without burning it because "the oven has a set timer" - Well fvcking take it out before it buzzes you retard

Devildog 24 November 2009 01:51 PM

More seriously, I don't "hate" anyone or anything, and I pity those who waste valuable time and resources getting hung up on such things.

Instead of sharing your rants and ramblings on the internet, I suggest you

a) register with the TPS to stop the BG calls
b) ask yourself why so many people don't have any issues with BT
c) make high value purchases from specialists rather than opting for the cheapskate option with zero customer service.

And then live a long, happy and stress free existance :)

SunnySideUp 24 November 2009 01:55 PM

Done a - calls keep coming!

b - I would suggest most do

c - First time Customer Service was tested by me

And my resources were employed pretty profitably as I have enjoyed a 42" Plasma TV for free for years :thumb: everyones a winner! :D

I would hardly class months of whingeing about a green pixel as "enjoyed", or was the whole issue yet another pile of crap ?

If you're registered with TPS, BG are committing an offence. Complain and get it sorted.

Try dealing with insurance providers on a daily basis. Utter half wits.

Aviva/Norwich Union is the worst by a clear margin and should the rep from Aviva cross our threshold he would leave through a window (a closed window). Then Legal & General and AXA a close 3rd. And this is UK based intermediary lines not india based customer lines.

Could you cope with a Nightfighter at your age Pete?

Not a fan of BG either, they continue to send us bills & nasty letters for failure to pay our bill.

Our heating comes from a coal fire & always has done, only gas we use is the 4 hobs on the cooker. That is paid via a pre paid card meter which only uses about £15 every 12 months.

The one that is really annoying me at the moment is my old uni, been left about 4 years and they decided to send a debt collection agency after me the other week for a outstanding library fine.

I paid up to get them off my back, then a couple of days later I got another letter from the uni saying there had been a mistake & they wouldn't be pursuing the matter.

After contacting them & being passed around different departments who didn't have a clue what was happening I was told I would receive a refund.

Apparently they had to come up with some kind of "mechanism" to pay me the money back, passing me around different departments again. The legal department, admin department & the finance department blah blah blah ...

Now they say they only make "payment runs" once a month & I have probably missed Novembers. Cant see me making Decembers either.

I honestly cant see what's so hard and why it takes so long to write a cheque, place it in a envelope & post it to me. After all they have a finance department surely that's there job.

If BG offered me free gas and leccy for life I wouldn't take them up on the offer. The most incompetent bunch of feejits I ever had the displeasure of dealing with, and as a result they are well off my Xmas list. I'll NEVER deal with them again !

I did post up a CC Judgement ... do keep up!

And, to me, taking a huge corporation to Court and winning was rather enjoyable :D

I am registered with TPS - and the calls keep coming, not only from BG but from every other sales office in the land ...... I do enjoy winding them up though, I must admit. I'm guessing that each time I apply for something/buy something/register for something they send my details to all and sundrie, even though I am spot-on when ticking and unticking the boxes!

Just had a statement from BG: £0.00

Can't complain
:D

(empty property - the rest is with npower)

BG Ha Water

Just a twist to this. I am a gas engineer and before anyone asks not for BG. Got a guy at the door the other day trying to sell me the water pipe cover from the stopcock to the house as its my responsibillity Told him l was a supply pipe gas engineer and the fittings and pipe are the same except for the colour Blue for water Yellow for gas and l would fix it myself if needed. He replied that l could not touch it. I promptly told him to Fcuk Off as he had just tried to sell me cover on a pipe l can't touch. What a pity!!!!!!
I hate the telesales people. I just pick up the phone let them start then tell them to Fcuk Off. Hate the tossers.

Yeah, POWERFLUSH was the scam a few years ago.

Today it is, "Your Boiler is on the Limited Stock List" - "We can quote you for a new, modern Boiler"

Now, I get a print out of a google search on my Boiler - just to show that I can get any part I desire if I want it ............. so, one would ssume that BG could also get the parts!

I see that AutoGlass are on a scam at the moment - supplying and fitting costly windscreen wipers!! While the machine is fixing the chip, they will inspect your wipers for you - isn't that kind of them? They then inform you that they are damaged/worn :lol1:

You've got to love them ;)
