rota grids for classic

im after some 18 x 9 or 9.5 rota grids for my classic.all i can find so far is for a stud pattern of 5x100 is 8.5 wide.

do i have to use 5x100 or can i use a different stud pattern like 5x114.3 for example?

cheers

you could buy 5 x 114 but when they dont fit you will have to buy some more.....!!!!!
and the most important thing is!!!!!!offset as if there to wide you will have arch trouble.
try rare rims, and they will help.
8.5 on a good offset will stick out to much..
you need to find yourself the right fitment..
try them and see...

what r u planning on doing to the arches?

beef-on-the-bone 21 November 2009 07:11 PM

classics are not good for serious width from what i understand, major arch work ahead..............

kermit sti 21 November 2009 07:11 PM

ok so i have to use 5x100 on a classic all i can find is 8.5 on that stud pattern and i need 9 or 9.5 hmmm

seen bockett car but thats not a classic is any one on here running 9 or 9.5 on a classic.

need to filll 22b style arches

gc8-r 21 November 2009 07:17 PM

you wont need 9's or bigger if you find the right offset..
the 22b's wheels were 17's running only 225's
so get a good dealer and you can sort it... ;)
and bocketts are 5x100

I looked into this a while back, try looking on nasioc or wheeldude.com, he'll ship to the UK but it will cost you. You can also try rarerims, but the last time i spoke to them they couldn't say what they were getting or when.
