values suddenly up ???

hi guys just had a quick look on ebay before i went to work, and saw several classics ending in the next few hours all with bids all with high price tags. 2 that stood out was a 95 wrx wagon with 3 bids at 3990. And a 95 sti with 5 bids at 4990. I only looked from my mobile so havent had a proper look but there were several others with lots of bids and decent price tags. Anyone else noticed this?

There are just lots of idiots who dont know what they are buying, and chances are half of those are knackered/worn out/ragged senseless/unserviced examples.

How pessimistic and cynical. You need to spend some time on happier websites mate. This place is obviously getting to you :)

Put it this way, ebay is like the last ditched attempt to sell anything :lol1: and yes most of it is trash.

From my friends recent experiences I won't think they went for those prices. People bidding but never hearing from them again, coming to pick the car up then trying to knock down the price, etc. Also you get peoples mates bidding up the prices.

agreed, increased values is either wishful thinking or just blind loyalty.
We are talking about 14 year old cars for Pete's sake.

I got my current car last Feb and I think the prices for newage cars haven't changed that much since then but if anything they have gone up a little bit.
Always people wanting a lot more than others for the same cars just look through piston heads at the price differences the expensive ones stay on for ages.

Mine is going Sunday so I will be looking for a late Blob early Hawk if I can get a good deal ;)
Am in no rush so hope they do dip for Xmas/new year :D
