Toad ai606 proximity issue?

Hi, when i turn down my sensor sensitvity (exterior) the alarm chirps non stop once triggered but ocne you turn it up again its ok but this goes off whenever a car drives past which is anoying.. anyone know of this problem or how to set the sensitivty so its not allways going off?

Pressing the lock button twice should disable the interior sensors, which will be a temporary fix.

Before doing any futher diagnostics, I would advise getting a PROPER load test done on the vehicle battery, as thats often a prime cause of alarm issues.

(info on proper battery load testing: Battery Testing, Maintenance And Myths ).

thanks, pressing the arm button twice wont affect the exterior prox sensors though, ive found a manual on how to adjust it all but its not working that well. i think il just get in touch with my fitter.

Make sure interior sensor is turned right down before adjusting ext sensor
the prob you have is the ext is below int sensor

So all the way down with int then set exterior

Right il give that a try. In the manual it says normal operation 0.5 second puluse and normal operation 2.5 second pulse, what does this mean exactly? is it the amount of beeps it does when its set off? can you change the volume also?

Yes you havve 2 x flick switches one side gives you 3 beeps other side gives you 3 x 3 beeps
You can change the volume but you will have to go into alarm settings and adjust there
