Can some1 tell me how they held inplace as car just come back from spray shop & there rattling around? going back up to see lad moro but want to make sure what it requires

Stamped steel spring clip into a slot in the side of the jet moulding.

Clip looks like a "u" with a squared-off bottom, about 3/4 inch by an inch and a half. Hopefully still sat on a shelf at the bodyshop.
