Tyre sizes
 

I need to get some new tyres , currently have 225/45/17 but want to go to a lower profile like a 40 , but can't find a 40 profile and 225 at a good price , can only find 215/40/17 , would these fit , cheers

If you have a 95 classic you need 215/40/17 anyway. 225/45/17 is new age fitment:)

does it matter what wheels i have? theyr'e not the standard wheels but are 17"s, cheers

215 40 17 is a better fitment for classics on 17" imo

ok thanks for reply's , so if i get some 215 40 17 tyres , the tyre fitters won't mind putting them on , even though the it has 225 45 17 's on at the moment , just i wasn't sure if the wheels/rim was wider or somthing , cheers
