Parking in Cardiff

I'm coming down to Cardiff on the 22nd for the rugby and stopping overnight, I want to come down in the scoob but was wondering where to leave it safely and securely , any ideas ?

Thanks

Nigel

Who's playing on the 22nd?

There are overnight secure parking in Gray Friars Road, Westgate Street and the Boulevard De Nantes to name a few.

I am watching Argentina v Wales on the 21st :notworthy

Your in the best city for the game and beers, the stadium is less than a five min walk from all the pubs and clubs.

If you get in early enough you can Park in Westgate Street right next to the Stadium. It's a ticket in and out so should be safe.

Grey Friars is on the same street as the New Theatre next to the Hilton.

If you want to save some cash you can park at my house and pay a £1 each way on the train.

Drop me a PM :thumb:

Cheers for the replies:thumb:, I've been told the Novotel car park is quite safe with some cctv which is handy as I'm staying there . What's the neighbourhood around there like ? I just would hate to get up after a cracking day/night out to find some scum has taken/damaged my pride & joy ! Really want to come down in the scoob since the roads between N & S wales are beauties :luxhello:.

The Novotel is in Atlantic Wharf. The area isn't too bad but can come alive at night if you know what I mean. I have seen window glass on the roads on more than a few occassions. It's up to you, but I would park in one of the secure CCTV covered multistoreys. Probably check in, get ready, drive to the car park and go out from there - saves having to get a taxi back to the hotel. Another car park to add to the list is the Knox Road car park, at the east end of Queen's Street.

Totally agree about the drive from North to South - awesome - but frustrating stuck behind traffic if you're driving something you can't overtake in!

You've got insurance so dont worry about the car. Just enjoy the drive down, the game, and the drive back. :-)
