STI8 Engine - 40k miles

I have a V8 Sti engine for sale.

It's in perfect working order and has only covered 40,000 miles.

Complete long engine assembly, as pictured below... ready to bolt all your anciliaries to and refit :)

Maybe a stupid question, but how easy is it to fit this to a classic? i have a my00 turbo2000

The STI engine has AVCS cylinder heads (Variable Valve Timing) which your engine doesn't.

You'd need an aftermarket ECU to make use of the AVCS.

You could use the STi8 short motor with your heads, which would make a stronger engine than what you currently have - Then sell the AVCS heads on :)

I've just stuffed the bottom end on my V4STI , would you be willing to split the engine?

I'd rather sell it as a whole motor.

You could always buy it, and sell the AVCS Heads on...

I would be interested in the complete avcs heads if you decide to split?
