Oddness

Reset the ecu on my Scoob and it cleared the fault codes. Great! But when I took it out I noticed it was still only running .5bar the revs aren't restricted so I'm led to believe that it's not in limp mode. The engine was rebuilt 7k ago and I'm wondering if when the engine was rebuilt whover did it has adjusted the actuator so it only runs low boost to allow the engine to be run in? How would I check the actuator is set correctly? I've checked the hoses and all appear to be ok. I'll give the boost solenoid a clean but do you literally spray cleaner into the pipes and then reconnect them and run it?

Any ideas?

I had this on mine and it turned out to be 2 things - firstly I'd changed the vacuum hose and hadn't move the 'pill' from the wastegate actuator pipe, and also my boost solenoid was seized. As soon as I fixed both of those it worked a treat.

There is a method for cleaning the solenoid that requires the connecting of a couple of plugs under the dash to run the diagnostics mode - this causes the solenoid to pulse and you can spray brake cleaner in whilst it pulses to clean it out. This was primarily for classics and I'm not sure if the plugs exist on the newage.

Cheers mate I shouldve mentioned it's a my00 classic. Does anyone have details on how to clean the necessary parts?
