inlet manifold question
 
im looking to remove my inlet manifold and get it repainted red as its flaking but i was wondering is there any modification i can do to it while its off what gains will it have and what sort of price would i be looking at?

Not to the mainfold, but you should look into running a parrallel fuel line mod, while its off.

what about those inlet spacers. do they help?

Parallel fuel rail mod is not paramount on the lower/medium powered cars, but can be done if you wish. Just do it properly sothat you do not end up with fuel leaks.

Yes the inlet spacers do help as they stop the direct heat transfer into the manifold. If doing that you might aswell buy the spacers for the radiator header tank aswell.

But other than that make sure it is cleaned properly.

you could port match the inlet runners to the gaskets and throttle body hosing to the gasket. its alot of work for very little bennefit those, couple of bhp at most
