putting ppp on your insurance?

looking at a wrx SL, just done an insurance check came back around £300 fully comp but on the reg i put in the quote it came up as 225bhp as standard, how would i go about adding the ppp, do the insurance companys recognise it or do you have to declare each item? thanks

i would guess they should know what it is, seen as its a subaru upgrade from new ?

it was an on line quote, and on the drop down list for mods it didnt have ppp listed so didnt know what to tick. is it best to just phone? £300 for my lowest quote seemed very good. used compare the market, also did my moped insurance today lowest £49 most expensive £9424.67. (1999 125cc worth about £350). bargain............

will give them a call in morning see if they know what ppp is, i expect it will put the quote up by about £300 so then it will be back to the type r..........

We'll for what its worth, I'm with Greenlight and the PPP on my MY05 STI didn't cost a penny more.

Who was your quote with?
Some of the favourite companies like Keith Michaels and A Plan etc might not/don't appear on the compare the market type searches.

You'd be surpised how many insurers don't recognise PPP - despite it being endorsed by Subaru:freak3:

You are right on this one. Most insurers don't have a drop down for PPP (and most haven't got a clue!)

Feel free to call me and I'll sort out a quote for you.
