Why is my premium so high?

Its renewal time again and I'm shopping around.

I have a 2004 WRX with no mods. I have 0 points in the eyes of the law but have 6 points from 2006 which have now left my licence but insurance companies still hold onto.

I am 32 years old and have been driving 13 years with full NCB.
My best price is £570. I cant help feel that this is too high for my age, experience etc.

I dont wish to critisise my current insurer on SNET so will mention no names.

Whats your thoughts?

Moley 26 October 2009 05:57 PM

£570 isn't that high (IMO)

nathanb 26 October 2009 07:04 PM

Thanks for the quote Gary.

Really good to speak to you mate. What a nice guy!!

Maybe next year!!:thumb:

Moley 27 October 2009 11:35 AM

As above, postcodes make a MASSIVE difference.

:wonder::wonder:
Even if it's within a couple of streets??
Shame on the insurance people for being so discriminatory.

Surley you sort the insurance for you're own car?? So you must be paying the minimal amount!

Have you declared all the mods on you're car. :lol1:

You need to get a quote from me, Gary, I've heard really bad things about the people that work for Keith Michaels! ;-)
