New 500BHP member THANK YOU AGAIN ENGINE TUNER oh and bigger thank you S206 (",)

Just want to say a massive thank to Martyn and Alan at Engine Tuner for helping reach yet another target 505BHP and for the great customer service I received through my build they always kept me updated with constant pms and phone calls even well after hours. They always got back to me what ever day of the week what ever the time is they have always made the right recommendation to me never tried to sell me anything that I never needed and always gave very sound advice. I had a great experience with them and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants engine builds, mapping and custom work.

Now for the best bit its an sti4 type r with a built 2.5
ppg
Twin exedy clutch
Simtek ecu
740 injectors
Gt spec headers
Zigen 3 inch fireball s/s
Autobahn front mount
S206 turbo
Large cone k and N
Standard sti 4 heads
Oil cooler
Fuel pressure reg

And to be honest despite all the power it drives like it left the factory I didn’t know such car would drive so smoothly I have had no niggling problems at all with my build its been a truly DRIVE IN DRIVE OUT bit unusual for a Subaru lol. And when you plant the throttle all hell brakes loose BLOODY unbelievable power delivery. I got admit these guys are you one stop shop for everything and price wise very VERY very competitive give them a shout and see for your self.

MASSIVE THANKS BOYS

And they also have superchips plastered all over that website.

I'd imagine they better remove that if they want some credibility

Well, we are very happy with Superchips for a wide range of turbo diesel cars, but we obviously don't use them for Imprezas!

There's more to life you know...:)

I think someone should buy me one of these engines as a gift .. dream dream dream :)

WRX_Rich 27 October 2009 06:36 PM

500 isn't as easy as most would have you believe well done to all involved
are those figures running a fuel mix ?

question to engine tunner - how does the s206 compare to the TD555 based turbo's

reason i ask is im running a td555 based turbo which seems to have loads in the mid range but lacks top end ( on a built 2.5 with cosworth cams)

V power only map (switchable of course) we left at 460 bhp.
This is an everyday setting, not creaming it!

Mus 28 October 2009 06:17 PM

cheers for that Alan
