Oh, the ironing - a stable vista on W7 launch day!
 

I've always had a problem with Vista 64 and my Nvidia graphics card. No matter what forceware drivers I used, I would always get a BSOD whilst playing games. It was clearly a card issue because I could leave the machine on all night without it falling over once. Load a game, any game and it would BSOD randomly but at least every 30 mins or os.

However, having not used my games PC for over a year I bought STALKER Clear Sky and attempted to play. BSOD as usual so I thought I'll patch everything up, update everything and have another go.

Installed Vista SP2 and eureka! Play solid for about 2 hours without a burp. Only downer was I patched Clear Sky and my saves wouldn't work but a small price IMHO.

What the chances! Don't need SP3, oh sorry, Windows 7 so much now ;)
