2006 WRX 5 speed gearbox
 

As above I have for sale a late model 5 speed gearbox. (male drive shafts)
Taken from a 2006 2.5L WRX with 35K miles
The box comes complete with linkage and wiring harness.

Taking up space in my garage and it's niether use nor ornament to me.

What rear diff is it compatable with?

Can you fit the speedo drive from an early model?

By male shafts, you mean classic compatable?

Needs a 4.11 R160 diff.

Yes cable driven speedo can be fitted.

You need the axle stubs to be able to use the earlier drive shafts.

I just smashed 3rd gear in my MY00 impreza turbo, and am in need of gearbox or gearset. Would you know if the gearbox you have will match my car? Im not too sure what my final drive is. Also what price did you have in mind?

Hi Mike,

Sorry to say this gearbox is not for you.
These have a push type clutch, 4.11 rear ratio and need the male front drive shafts

Is this a turbo box? If it will fit my uk 98 classic (I know about driveshafts as above) could be keen.

Would this fit a 2003 Prodrive WRX???

Yes but it's not straight forward. You'd need gearbox stubs and a push type clutch.
But other than yet yes it would.
