santa pod 22B today

Went to sant a pod today to have a bash at this quarter mile lark. Had the rare privilege of seeing a mint 22B. Nice guy and glad he got it out the garage for all to see. Only the 2nd road one i have ever seen. A brave man also letting his son rip it up the 1/4 mile.....not sure i will be letting my 17 yr old do the same in the near future
a few pics for you 22b lovers

Was that you in the GB270 or the blob eye with the rally stickers all over it.

Very nice car there then mate. I was very tempted in buying 1 not so long ago, but at the last minute i have decided to get an STI instead. I just cant find the right 1 yet.

That 22B must be one of Prodrive's 16 Type UK's. A rare bird indeed. :thumb:

Very nice indeed

:lol1: at the wet fart although I doubt your clutch would have lasted very long launching at 6k revs

i see a guy in a mk1 giving it large on the warm up section, and subsequently breaking his diff!! and i thought there is no way i am doing that to my car. A guy in another scooby did tell me prior to my first run not to go mad on the revs 4-4.5 is suffice depending on how much you value your drivetrain. so i drove accordingly and i dont think i would have got below 14 seconds even if i had rung its neck as there is so much lag from 1 st to second and i think the video shows that nicely
