I know this has been done before and I've tried searching but not really found the answer.

I'm buying a latop for my daughter for Xmas. I'm not bothered if it has 15" screen, but it would be nice if it could play some of her games as well and this is where I'm not sure.

Budget is max £400 and she plays mainly The Sims games, Including Sims3.

I don't want to buy her something that just won't run them. On the flip side, if the minimum spec required to run half decent games means the price goes up, I'll re-think.

Anyone offer any experience / guidance?
