Facinating and almost beautiful,.. bullets in super slow motion.
Bit of a wierd one, but crazy to see how they do their thing, and impact varies with surface hit.
YouTube - 1 million fps Slow Motion video of bullet impacts made by Werner Mehl from Kurzzeit |
Nice find, especially with some ambient techno from my PC....
dunx |
The Glass ones are the best. Is it only in black and white as it catures at such a high fps rate that colour would be too much to handle with current technology?

Thanks for that Snazy, fascinating video and interesting to see how the bullets can still penetrate at an oblique angle.
Les :) |
I love vids like this
|
A nice find :thumb:
Scary how much energy is involved when a bullet strikes |
Looks like aluminium at the beginning and the advantages of sloping armour.

Woohoo Snazy did good (only took 10,000 posts) :p lol
Glad you appreciate it the same way I do. Im not as wierd as I thought haha. Just something almost majestic about seeing power and fury slowed to a crawl to understand the physics of it :) |
Where is the one with Gordon Brown in it? :D

Excellent.
Not so excellent watching from the opposite end though, but If you were to survive a gun shot wound, at least now you could picture what was going on.. :) |
