Aussie motorsport fans have been hit with a booze restriction.

What a joke, aussie motorsport fans have been restricted to just 24 cans of beer a day. If they reduce it by anymore we could the convicts talking sense :wonder:

How the f*ck are you supposed to enjoy a motor race with only a slab of beer in yer?;)

Luminous 06 October 2009 07:40 PM

That sounds like one car race that I need to attend :D :D

They said that alcohol was in part responsible for the violence they saw in 2005..... I guess they decided that they'd up the limit in 2010 then to stop the Neanderthals killing each other for the last can of rats piss :D

That's only 96X :lol1:

SJ_Skyline 07 October 2009 02:26 PM

S'trewth!

Bathurst is an oustanding track, very fast and with some tricky corners to go with it.

Can't understand why they need to knock back that much alcohol to be able to enjoy the racing! Or is it all one big excuse?

Les

Hope Motors TV has Bathurst on in full this weekend.

Rerun at 2pm Sunday - woot!

Coffin Dodger 07 October 2009 04:49 PM

Don't forget the Aussie "tinny" is only a mere 375 ml so much less than an English can.

Anyway just goes to show that they're a load of shandy drinking girls who can't hold their booze :D

Leslie 08 October 2009 11:05 AM

They don't seem to need much of an excuse anyway!

Les :D

Race related violence :)

"The Hill" at Bathurst was the direct inspiration for the downhill section of my now demolished scalextric track.

That's still nearly 16 pints a day!

Looks good-you'd have to work a bit to get through there on the limit.

Les :)
