help fuel in oil

can any one help
i have a 1996 impreza sport
seems to run fine but has a lack of power and i am getting fuel in the sump
could this just be a leaky injector or something more seriouse

Oh could be serious :( lack of power denotes it could be a compression issue, that could be anything from a cracked cylinder to that injector, but I would say take the car to a garage or even better, have the car trailered to a garage and get them to look at it.

If you're still firing on all 4 cylinders it sounds like the rings have gone on one or more pistons. Fuel is getting past the rings and ends up straight in the sump. That also explains low compression.

That could cause you to blow a hole in the side of a piston at high revs/load if you're not careful. Fuel ignites down the side of a piston and when very hot will blow a decent size hole in the side of it.
