spark plugs gap
 
hi all what is the gap the pfr7b plugs come out of the box are thay 0.7mm
I used to use pfr6b i no there 0.8 and had adjust the gap to 0.7mm
any one no.

0.65 - 0.7mm would be ideal.

My last set where all over the place, 1mm to 0.6:wonder:

Set them to 0.65:thumb:

If you don't adjust to the correct gap you will find that she will missfire under load when on boost.

If the gap is too small then the spark won't be large enough to ignite the fuel/air mix properly.

If the gap is too large then the spark will be too weak by the time it has jumped the gap & again it won't ignite the mixture properly.
