changing dump valves problems ?

Hi fellas
I have just changed my forge dump valve for a baileys one and was wondering if this will make my car have any problems ?
2005 blobeye sti type u.k

scooby clinic mapped !

Also was wondering if i change the backbox on the exhaust to a quiter one like Prodrive will i have problems with the car ( need remapping ) and what effect it will have other then making less noise ;) ?

any thought would be appreicated :thumb:

I dont think a different back box would need a remap.

Are either DV recirc or VTA? A VTA will make you car have problems but if they are both recirc you shouldn't notice a difference.

Simon

P.S. Why make a change without understanding what change your making first?

they both are vta's i had to change it as the forge was foooked and i have not run it yet with the bailey on thats why i am asking !

i've run standard, vta and no dump valve on my car and never had any problems with any.

i think the vta theory about bad running is never backed up with facts.
