It depends on a lot of things really pal. Do you want a Weld-in roll cage or Bolt-in?
If your going to make a race-car out of your Subaru then Weld-in is better although you can get FIA race approved bolt-in roll cages which have the benefit of being easily removable. With roll cages you can basically custom make them for your application and needs e.g.; you can have more bars in them, extra side protection etc etc.
Are you going to try and fit these yourself? if so how are your welding skills if you do go for a weld-in? :D will need to be v.good when your talking safety devices.
If it's for track days and fast road then a bolt-in would be just the job IMO. Now I've never fitted one but I understand it's not an easy job and depending on how the cage is put together you may need to remove more than you think from your car e.g.; interior, dash, windscreen etc.
I'd probably pay the money to have a pro fit it if you can afford it. Demon Tweeks and Safety Devices are the two companies that spring to mind but there are other's. Most do installation so your best off to ring them and tell them what your after. Goodluck, Gareth :thumb:
