Oh FFS!!!

Why is it, that people stick their noses into your life, just because yours doesn't conform with theirs???

Still revenge will be sweet.

How would you go about extracting revenge from friends who have set you up well and truly???

To give you the background, New years 1 of them made a comment about me being single and doing something about it, well she bl00dy well has.

Coffin Dodger 28 September 2009 04:42 PM

You're gay, enjoying the scene leading a promiscuous single life, and she's setting you up with her single girl mates

Just tell her / come out of the closet. It'll be easier in the long run :)

fitzscoob 28 September 2009 04:45 PM

Has she set you up on a blind date?

Maybe they think they are helping you out?!

My sister does that all the time, trying to introduce me to women I'm really not attracted too because I'm single.

bigsinky 28 September 2009 04:49 PM

Its worse than that, that would require effort!! I'm gonna have to admit this againt my better judgement. She's signed me up to match.com of all things...

mr_D 28 September 2009 04:51 PM

meet her. bone her. leave her.

im sure your mate will get the hint when this women wants your blood.

on a serious note. its a bitch but it always hapens mate. what ever you do or say someone will always stick there nose in! like one big soap opera

Jaybird-UK 28 September 2009 04:52 PM

If a friend did something with only the best intentions in mind that I didnt think was appropriate I would speak with them and tell them, not seek to exact some well thought out revenge plot.

Talk to her, get her to undo what she has done

mr_D 28 September 2009 04:52 PM

just read new post! lol

have some fun with the type of women that will try to speak to you. its funny

Just make sure before you go on one of the dates, that :

a) your mum doesnt come to your house to make sure you are presentable
b) she doesnt tag along for the date :D

I can go one better - my mum only went and got a phone number of someone I briefly met at a party.:mad::o

...That went straight in the bin. I mean come on, what part of male pride do some women (especially mums) simply do not get? And how much of a mong would I have looked if I was daft enough to actually phone this girl and have to explain how I got her number and why I'm ringing (assuming she didn't know...even worse she may have known)?

I can see it now "Hi, my mum wanted me to be your girlfriend so gave me your number, do you want go out?" < Laughter >< click >< beep >< "the other person has cleared. The other person has cleared" >

FFS If I want a woman I will bloody well go and get one myself

(Good deals going on in Serbia at the moment; My mate's just gone off to import one...doirty barsteward :lol1: :norty: ) ;)

I have a mate that did that to one of his bosses. He signed up, created a profile (wasnt a derogatory one either) and gave her email address all without her permission. Not only did he get sacked but she brought the police in and he got 240hrs community service (narrowly avoiding a custodial sentance) under the Malicious Communications Act.

You could proper f*ck her over!!

Revenge seems a very strong reaction to what you describe. If you are happy with your situation then just dismiss it as a laugh and let the water run of the duck's back. Just becos your friend has signed you up to match.com doesn't mean you have to date anyone. Its not up to anyone else to dictate to (or act for you) without you asking for their help.

Take control, if this is not your idea of fun then tell the person who set you up in no uncertain terms and move forwards :)

I like the way he has set the mood by creating an uplighter :lol1:

Dunno why but reading this reminded me of the time my best mate was after this doll who had little to no interest in him. Whilst out drinking with my partner in crime at the time we devised a plan that she would distract him whilst i grab his phone and change the girls phonenumber on his mobile to mine and then send him a few dodgy texts.

It was hilarious, we couldn't keep a straight face and ended up rolling around the floor in laughter. He took it quite bad, didn't speak to either of us for about 2weeks.:lol1:

Surely it's an easy solution - log in and remove your profile.

Failing that, just don't log in or pay for membership, then you've lost nothing.

Or tell the female friend who did it, that you only have eyes for her ;) and then create a profile for her too :p On a Swingers site :thumb:

Simon K 29 September 2009 09:06 AM

I cant see how people helping you to meet girls is a hardship ?

Your single, so any hole's a goal, so if your mum has managed to get numbers, or mates have created you a profile on match ( Ive had tons of fun on there :-) ), then cool.

I'd rather regret what Ive done, than what I havent done. So, whether stunning or not, as long as its got a nice body, then get in there.

If not, then go make a rainbow flag, put on your DM's, and cropped top, and march along at your next local Pride.
