Cheap mountain bike deal - link

Just come across this offer whilst browsing the net and thought I would share it with the rest off the scoobynet gang, apparantly if you enter " bike " into the voucher code it takes the price down to just £60 and this includes delivery as well.

£60 delivered seems like this weeks bargain to me, have already got a couple off bikes otherwise I would have been ordering one for myself !!

anyway hope its off some use to some off you ??!!

I hate to be the one to say it, but a dual susser at that price will quite literally be "shocking"

What a pile of crap, will last about one lap of the park.

I've got one. Brakes are a bit severe.

:lol1:

Okay the components on it are going to be the cheapest, nastiest stuff you can possibly lay your hands on and won't last or withstand any abuse. The suspension will be pretty much just springs with little or no damping. The frame will be heavy and combined with everything else the bike will weigh a ton.

However I find it pretty shocking that they can churn out a bike like that for £75. Makes you wonder what the factory and working conditions must be like where kids screw these together. Sad state of affairs.

I'll stick to my Marin thanks (also made in Taiwan ) :)

Beginning to think I should not have bothered now !!

oh well I thought it was a bargain, try getting something similar in Hafrauds for that price !!

Mate, appreciate the thought but it is a pile of poo, really about £250 is about right for a basic bike, no suspension or disk brakes, those type are heavy, the suspension acts like a Space Hopper, for that kind of money you are much better looking at a quality second hand bike with some life left in it.

I think these kind of bikes put people off cycling.
