to many samco hoses
 

hi, i left my 00 classic impreza in for fitting of samco hoses today and when i went to collect it the guy handed me 2 spare hoses saying they werent needed, there was 8 hoses in total when i bought them, 6 are fitted to the car which are 3 hoses on the top of the header tank , 1 hose below the header tank and 2 hoses on top and bottom of rad, i have i straight piece about 3 inches long and a hose with a bend left over, can anyone tell me if this is correct ?

Could be Turbo pipes possibly then.
Maybe it's just differences between JDM kit and UK kit or specific models. I'd check on Samco or failing that just look in your engine bay to see if the pipes match any diameter, length, shape wise etc. :thumb:

sorry i forgot to say the 8 hoses were for ancillary , the two hoses left are about 25mm in width , one been 3 inches long and the other about 7 inches and a bend in it , thanks for your help GMballistic, i did a quick search in the engine bay and couldnt see anything although i did find a loose black hose just below where the bottom hose from the header tank is, pushed it back on to where i think it goes ,

If they don't fit your car then I'd put them up for sale (eBay or similar) if I where you to try and get some cash back for other things ;) Maybe check through Samco's site and see if you can see those pipes in any other Subaru kit. Maybe it was an error on there side. Atleast there wasn't any pipes missing :D :thumb:

the hose about 7" long with a bend in it is for your brakes. right hand side of your intercooler.....DO NOT FIT OR YOUR BRAKES WILL FAIL....the standard pipe has a restrictor inside it and the aftermarket one`s dont......
