Really wouldn't be overly concerned about the number of owners as these cars are often bought for the summer and then got rid off. As long as the history is there I think it should be fine.

FSH, with the dealears or very least a specialist is a must. They use a fair bit of E30 running gear under the skin, especially the tricky rear axle set up. But all in all a fantastic car and fairly bullet proof. Enjoy.

There's a few recalls for this. Large engined Z3 suffered serious cracking around the rear. My friends ZM3 had this and BMW repaired it under warranty, £3K !!!! Its like the engine is too powerful and is splitting the car. Also, the changing of the Clutch cable/pipe.

What age is the car ?? The engine's changed from the typical 321bhp ( e36) to the detuned 326bhp ( e46) one. Cramped inside, Im 6ft and found it very tight. Need to check the Vanos, but that isnt as expensive as it once was. There's a chap called Dr Vanos who will sell you the washers / wheels etc for £400.

All the usual checks for a M3evo, but just in a Z3 shell.

However, lovely car, and lots of fun :-) Just got to be careful what your buying.
