Another geo setup question please

There’s a great thread here on geo setup, but rather than hijack that can I start my own?

I have given up on WRX shocks for my 06 saloon. So, I’ve ordered HSD coilovers, with a Whiteline handling pack (22mm front and 24mm rear ARB’s, drop links, ALK and diff support lock).

Pretty much everything is adjustable. I don’t mind sacrificing some ride comfort for much better handling. I have a Hunter wheel alignment place nearby and I’m proposing to tell them to set up as follows to begin with.

6/4 Coilovers - Ride height similar to the Eibachs (lower at the front I think), 6 or 7 clicks from soft
Rear ARB - Middle
Caster - Max
Front camber - (minus)-1.5
Front toe - 0
Rear camber - (minus)-1
Rear toe - 1.5mm toe out

Any comments from the chassis gurus here would be greatly appreciated. This is a setup for fast road, some twisty country road use, no track day use. The car is lightly modded with a lot more torque lower down in the rev range.

Cheers.

It's down to driving style and your local environment, IMHO.

I would just fit the lot and tweak it as you get near the limit.

TBH mine does some trackwork and it's allowed me to explore the limits of the handling in ( relative ) safety. As an "older" person, LOL I don't want a twitchy nervous car.

On track the oversteer is just spot-on as the torque kicks in, but I don't push the car that hard on the road any more.

Sorry !

P.S. You may even find that tyres are a bigger issue as you dial it in to suit !

Another old man here! Mid-life crisis and all that.
