Dont forget polish gets rid of defects, wax protects :D

Make your paint smell of bubble gum like I did with my old wax :norty:

Wax in a shampoo wouldn't protect it thats for sure :lol1:

Have a look in the car care section on here, loads of advice for protection. A lot of people think by polishing their car it's protected, I did to start with but use wax more often than not now on my 205. :thumb:

I use the Autoglym HD wax fella. Can be bought off Ebay for around £25-27 or £40 from Halfrauds. I do rate it for ease of use and finish but some prefer other stuff for the money. Before that I use Poorboys Nattys pink wax - this was only about £14 a tub and smelt of bubble gum :D

For polishing I use either the Autoglym SRP as it covers rids and scratches very well or Menzerna intensive polish which actually removes a large proprtion of scratches through its cutting effect.

Remembering this is on a 21 year old 205 LOL :D

I would suggest calling Rich and the gang @ Polished Bliss Polished Bliss - Car Care Products - Car Care Advice - Detailing Services - Scotland - UK and having a natter. Really nice folk even if you're just asking for advice or spending very little :thumb:
