Became a Daddy for the first time today. Jessica was born at 12:49 pm Friday 18/9/09. What a date of birth. :D

She's 4 weeks early but not a bad size at 4 pounds 12 ounces. No pics yet as they are on the camera at the hospital as I've finally come home and going to try and get some sleep after being up almost 40 hours.

Mother and baby both doing very well.

Oh and Jase I haven't forgotten you ;)

It's not the kids that cost the money- it's the Mrs! Watch out for the phrase "we need one of these" ... it's a trap. :rolleyes:

Congrats though mate. Our boy Ben is nearly 5 months now. Everyone will offer advice, mine is this: take loads of photos- they change LOADS in 5 months! Don't do things the way other people tell you that you should, do them your way- you'll find that you (as parents) always know whats best. Lastly make sure Jessicas mum gets out and about with other mums as soon as she can- it's usually a great sounding board for any probs or queries you may have and stops her getting stressed stuck at home.

All the best though mate, make sure you enjoy every minute, it goes REALLY quick!

Even thought it's our first, she has got loads of nieces and nephews so knows exactly how she's going to handle things and I'm just going to be learning as I go along. It's funny how everyone knows best when it comes to kids, so know where you're coming from.

If anyone tries to tell me how to do things just because they don't agree or do it differently, they'll be told to jog the fook on. I'm very outspoken and not worried about being tactful lol.

We've got everything we need and a mate has even bought me a baby Recaro seat for when she's 9 months which is a result :D

Car has been neglected and is still standard as we needed stuff for Jessica, but she has all she needs for now so car bits are being listed :thumb:
