Posting a Photobucket Album Picture
 

If I want to post a link to one of my album photos which "link" do I use and keep the full account details hidden?

The options are: -

Email & IM
Direct Link
HTML Code
IMG Code


Whatever I do the whole album name seems to be shown?

you need to go to your account settings on photobucket and make your pictures private not public then no one can view your album just the pics that u post

Thanks, I checked in account settings and it was set to Private??? However it was flashing that I hadn't filled in my date of birth so may be the settings weren't activated. What my dob has to do with the price of wet fish I haven't a clue!!

Still here is a test piccy using HTML link - is that the right one to use?

when i click ure <a href link i get a beach picture and cannot access the rest of ure account

u know u can alter the size of the images in photobucket by what size u upload them and also photobucket has a lot of edit features built in now

The account is private. As a tip though, change the name so people can't just alter the numbering to see more pics than you may want them to see.... "Seychelles089.jpg" can be change to 88, 87, 86, 85 etc. Even private accounts can be accessed if people know or guess the exact URL.
