360 rrod whats the signs
 

as above really.
My elite has been fine untill today ihad just launched a game of gow. When the screen
froze. it did it again when i restarted. then i got a chequrer board flaash it then loaded and ran the next game fine..


Is this the precursor to the rrod

When I've seen it it's been graphical corruption

mine did that it's a gonna end up with a e74 error and rrod :thumb:

same here (my post further down - mine finally rrod'd last weekend) - the occasional unexpected freeze / crash, quickly accelerating to badly tits up and RROD. Even then fairly binary - sometimes RROD, sometimes boot but crashing as soon as I started anything with more graphics than the start screens.

just packaging mine up having received the UPS label (to send it to Germany!)

Mine used to freeze all the time, and i was convinced it was going to break.

I did the system maintenance on the hard drive, and it was fine ever since, from what i can gather it was supposed to be down to a dodgy bit of data on the hard drive.

It has never frozen since (months!!!)

I've had the RROD once, whilst playing Godfather 2. When turning in the game everything went really slow and glitchy. Luckily, after turning it off for 15 minutes it's not come back. That was two months ago.
