MOT Failure - help please

The scooby failed on emissions and lambda reading:cuckoo:

I have a full Hayward Scott 3" exhaust system, catless downpipe with high flow sport cat on middle section.

The fueling was too rich according to the tester and if I could sort the lambda reading (fueling) and get that passable he reckoned the emissions would fall in line too.

Lamda readings were 0.91 & 0.95 and i think to pass needs to be 0.98

Can I get the lambda reading set to a MOT passable level when I get the power fc remapped at the end of the month?

As you can tell i don't really know what i'm talking about so any info is much appreciated.:thumb::hjtwofing

did you take the car for a good thrash before doing the emissions test? as centre section cats only work when they are really hot.

yeah cat was hot, i read somewhere before cat needed to be hot for emissions, does the cat effect the lambda reading as well? I know im thick:norty:
