up pipe leak,power loss?

hi there,i have tried everything to cure a loss of power at 5k and above on my 95 wrx, i can hear a noise when i put my foot down from 1.5k revs as the engine starts to become under load, like the exhaust is blowing.i have stainless steel headers fitted and I'm wondering if this is the up pipe to turbo leaking from them? would this give me the symptoms i am experiencing i.e. hesitation on boost.i know the full exhaust to turbo is fine but haven't checked the up pipe from headers.thanks Bryan

hey, i have had that sorta problem, my gasket blew out between the stainless headers and the up pipe, was a horrible blowing sound, felt abit flat really! took longer to spool up and was worse on fuel!

my scoob is horrendous on fuel right enough, takes a while to spool up but i put the latter down to the front mount, will need to get all the gaskets changed, see if it helps my hesitation,i seem to be changing/renewing everything on it to get it running sweet
