went to santa pod today to watch the european drag racing finals,absolutely fantastic day,first time i'd seen the proper top fuel dragsters,loved every minute of it,the noise of them was proper mental

ddi santa pod run thier jet engine drag car.

i saw it when i was up there for the first time and wow what a bit of kit and the noise was something different

I was there on Saturday.
Just imagine the top fuel (nitromethane) dragster with considerably more power from ONE cylinder than an F1 car has in total! 0 - 100mph in less than a second! You have to experience one of these things to appreciate the meaning of absolute brute power.

PS I've never seen so many tatooed bods all in one place! (the weather was hot) There was even a tatoo parlour in the trade area!!
