hi every one i was driving home from a day out and out of no where i lost my steering and the battery light come on i thought the belt snapped so pulled over and i found the pulley had come off http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/i...laydown006.jpg
the funny thing is my idle normally drops to nearlly stalling but now this has come off idle seems much better also my steering seams heavy some times so could my pump also be on its way out also with the belt off the steering is very very heavy even when moving it is as heavy as when sitting still:freak3:

Be very carefull running it with the pulley missing as there is nothing holding the cam belt pulley on apart fron the belt,
I had a front pulley cone undone and it damaged the end of the crank and keyway.
Had to have a new crank.

As above, check your crank, make sure it's not been damaged.

it looks like there is no damage to the woodruff or crank i think it just poped straight of and i pulled straight over also iv drive cars with power steering belt off before and when you are moving they aint that bad but when you are moving you struggle just to turn the wheel half a turn on the scoob:wonder:
