need to get a new car

hey all
now my spec c is no longer a road car i need to find a new motor. i really wanted another subaru, im finding it rally hard to like anything else as ive owned subarus and 1 evo for the past 5 years. now a change in personal circumstances i now have to travel to swansea 4 days a week which consists of 1hr 20mins motorway and 5 mins off motorway each way, i just think a suaru wont like it and will use loads of fuel. as i said i really dont like any other cars so looking to spend around 7k on something i dont like is proving quite difficult, as i know i need to be sensible think reliability and mpg but i just cant part with that sort of ash unless i like the motor. so please help me with some ideas non scoob and scoob all views and opinions welcome, any cars that people own to do this sort of travelling please post:thumb:

i use a fabia vrs as my second car mapped to 170bhp and pushing 300 lb of torque and delivers 50 plus to the gallon, can't go wrong with one of these:thumb:
