Best way of cleaning oil off engine? Pressure washer or steam cleaner?

I have discovered that there is an oil leak on my MY97 UK2000, but because there is oil everywhere underneath the engine I can't tell where it's coming from! I tried cleaning it with washing up liquid and a rag but didn't get very far, as I just can't reach everywhere.

I'm thinking about buying a cheap pressure washer or steam cleaner to do the job. Which one of these would be the best to use?

"gunk" mate i use the spray on stuff and a rag. you can get it from any car shop or tescos Id avoid the jet wash option iv known many cars refuse to start afterwards
