Max I can spend is £250 (30k service to pay for too :'()

There was a place that was doing the painting for free as a special offer - can't remember who that was.

Need to get the bugger on before the Saturday M25 cruise!

Has anybody got one of these spoilers?? Are they any good??

I ask as I used to have a spoiler on a previous spoiler that wobbled and cracked all over the place, so I replaced it with the scoobymania 22b one, which was perfect. I am currently looking for an stiV/VI spoiler and these seem quite good prices (if they stand up to the job)

akshay67 12 March 2002 12:51 PM

When you say 'good prices', you mean for £350?

I'm not saying whether its a good or a bad price because I don't really know. Apparently, its a saving of 100-150 due to free painting!

RichB 12 March 2002 01:51 PM

You ain't gonna get one, painted for £250! unless its 2nd hand.
DRM is about the cheapest and has a very good reputation on here... £350 painted is a good price.

Yes, the TSL one is the one I really want as it has a high level brake light (and it's only £200). Only problem is that I'm having troubles finding a local place that will paint it before Saturday. All in all, looks like it won't be happening this week!

Timo 12 March 2002 08:50 PM

Well if you told us where was local we could help. If you bring me a spoiler i will paint it and have it ready for the next day if you want!!

Tim :D

The TSL site says £250 + VAT + carriage for the STi5. What's the deal on the £200 spoilers then? Could not find any info on them.
They got a special offer on them at the moment or something?

akshay67 13 March 2002 11:57 AM

RichB,

Sorry, it's Midland Impreza that are doing them for £205 for the STiV and £150 for the STi1.

I live in West London BTW.

How much does a paint job for a spoiler cost these days?

Cheers!

bennetm 13 March 2002 07:42 PM

I had mine (WRC) from DRM and the paint shop they use is very good. I had a quote locally for about £100 to paint it.

Much easier to have it ready painted.
