hi
as per the title really. i'm wanting to fir a centre pipe, any recommendations ? currently running K&N element and scoobymania backbox Kevin :) |
AFAIK centre pipes are either straight through or resonsated chambers fitted, the latter will muffle the sound and I guess restrict flow slightly.
The straight pipe will increase flow and noise. Best gains to be had when changing downpipe to a catless one. :D Hope this helps? John |

Basically, a straight(ish) bit of tube is a straight bit of tube, and one with a resonator on it has one ;)
Not much that any company can do to improve the design! I don't think you'll find much difference (performance-wise) between what the manufacturers can do once you've decided on whether it should have a resonator or not. Build quality- again, it's a tube... [Edited by nom - 3/12/2002 10:03:25 AM] |
I've got a PE one that I'm very happy with - but I've got a Scoobysport downpipe and wanted to stay legal !
'kin expensive though ! Editied to say 'with a cat' [Edited by alistair - 3/12/2002 8:08:58 PM] |
