Retail is $900 plus add on top of that Camber bolts for a bit of negative camber on the rear and 5mm spacers to clear my Brembo's

Add shipping to that which i managed to get it very cheap as a mate who works for a well known courier company got me a huge discount. Then custom duty which hasn't be billed yet but i done my maths and pretty much worked it out

I still saved a fortune on them by importing them. But if i hadn't had the courier discount would have been pretty much the same as to get over here.

They are going to rub like fook. No fat burdz in the back.

Doggy 04 September 2009 04:59 PM

Not mine but...

That just looks too low. I like to be able to see the tyres.
Is it right that each time you change the height on coilovers you should really get the alignment redone?

If fitted correct with negative camber then rubbing shouldn't be an issue. Add to that an arch roll plus the fact no one is ever in the back hence why i have harnesses going to the back seats

Seen this one the other day. Looks good minus the missing fogs and side indicators

welcome to the club!!! I love the way my car looks and handles on the aggressive setup! I had my arches rolled by archenemy and the alignment done by Dixon Motor Sport, well recommended

beef-on-the-bone 04 September 2009 10:41 PM

loving the black blob!!!!

i think the stance is spot on............

Rice Rocket 04 September 2009 11:00 PM

Speaking of Stance - heard that theyre suspension is the best to use for this look

;0) look out for them coming :0)

That's right Mr Budgie
There has been a lot of discussion about an aggressive fitment.

They will be on for the Ace as i thought it was this Wednesday hence why i was trying to get the tyres on.
Reference the tyre's i will have a chat with you when i see you and see what MAGGY says about tyre fitment.

HARRY. i have been in touch with Archenemy about an Arch roll. Did you get front and rear done?

I have a 5mm spacer to go on the front to clear the Brembo's so i might need the front's rolling for that. The rear will be running negative camber with a 225 stretched.

Yezzir

The Stance suspension is the best for aggressive fitment. But that said they are running stupidly high spring rates. I'm talking 10+ And the roads in the states are much better than here.

Rice Rocket 04 September 2009 11:33 PM

yeah but you'd accept it just for the car to look the bolloxs, once i've stopped spending on the house move and pending baby, i'll be starting back on the scoob ;0)

Hello mate,

I am running 235's and i was getting rubbing front and back running a healthy dose of negative camber! I think you will have to get front and back done. IIRC Chris from ArchEnemy lives a couple of minutes away from me

Bockett 05 September 2009 09:08 AM

Thanks Harry.

I've spoken to Phil from Archenemy who might be the gaffa and i know his area is Bucks which is near me. Where in London are you? Did you get any issues with the paint craking. I know the newage scoobs are easier to roll.

I looked at 235's but if i've researched correctly the 225 should give me a good stretch = less rubbing

M444GY 05 September 2009 08:28 PM

stretch em on 225s , 235s are gonna be a push , may be worth running them for a while then rolling the arches and shoving 235s under there , what rubber u gonna get brand wise ??

u will get a mean stretch from 225s

scooby87 05 September 2009 08:31 PM

I really do love those wheels!!!! really liking that!!

will_wrx 05 September 2009 09:13 PM

This will look sweet. Will be easy to fit aswell.

I had 17x9 et42 on my old facelift Classic and that was so much harder than it was to get them on to a Newage.

I'm going with 18x9 et35 for my Wagon, thats going to be fun too!

Get pics up when there fitted up!

:)
