20000 miles a year

Hi All,I am new to the forum and currently drive a Honda Civic Type R (EP3). I am looking into getting an Impreza withing the next month. The issue for me is I drive approx 20000 miles a year which the civic is fine with. Am I going to get the same reliabilty from a Subaru as I am a civic? If not then am I still likely to be ok so long as it's maintained correctly throughout the year??I'm sure this has been asked before so I am sorry for a repost and I will keep searching the site while I wait for any answers. Thanks in advanceDatey

If its looked after it should be fine. But you`ll have one hell of a fuel bill.

Thanks mateAm I right to assume a 05 plate pro drive to be approx 25 mpg? What if I werent to use the turbo all the time (easier said than done)

My 03 sti ppp got about 25 mpg average and at the time the only thing that made a difference coming from the civic type R was the need to find 98(optimax back then) ron fuel as they really dont like 95. I did 20K a year in it and while I loved the type R the sti ppp was just soooo much better in every way (I did change it before it had massive mileage but it never missed a better)

ps My dealer backup for the civic was pants but subaru was the best I have ever experienced. Good luck
