05 'wide' sti rear bumper on a wrx..?

Is the 05> STI rear bumper a direct fit onto an 05 WRX..?

I know the rear arch extensions will be required, just wondered if there's much else..;)

Also, is there much difference in their price, oe from subaru..?

My 05 wrx needs a new genuine bumper and as fit the standard one I'm thinking I might as well fit the STI version..:norty:

Any advice is much appreciated, as usual..:notworthy

Afaik it's fit just the same, but as you say with the rear arch extensions.

Hmmm, just a question of the extra cost to consider..;)

Looking at a very good thread over on the NASIOC about this The STi Rear Wheel Fender Arch Install w/pics - NASIOC but there's mention of a bumper brace:

For mine, I had to cut off one of the provisions on the arch to fit with the STi bumper. It was the one that is farthest back on the arch. You will see how it won't fit if you have a wrx rear metal bumper brace on your STi bumper. If you have a STi brace, then it will fit like a champ.

Presumably it's easy enough to fit the sti brace to a wrx when doing this..?

Can anyone clarify this point for me and also the difference in (new) price between the WRX and STI bumper..?;)
