Viper Performance GC8 Intake Pipe

I had to buy a replacement intake pipe for MY97 T2000 this week as one of the plastic outlets had cracked.

This is the replacement;

I know a lot of people say they would only buy the samco pipe but I already have their induction pipe and that was of very good quality so I decided to buy their GC8 intake pipe. Cost about £170 delivered next day by Interlink Express.

Having it fitted today so I will post up some more pics once fitted and report back.

Also, a big :thumb: to Viper Performance.

I have been looking at getting one of these myself, they certainly do look the part and I have only ever read good reviews about them on various websites :thumb: not sure about the price though...

Don`t bother with this pipe, the fitting is very poor.

If you have the original fuel rail/line setup then the manifold will not fit back on at all, none of the breather outlets line up and the top outlet that goes to the boost control pipework is far to big.

I wouldn`t mind if it was a cheap Ebay pipe but this cost me about £170 :mad:

So whilst the inlet manifold is off I`m going to convert to the parellel fuel rails and fit an oil catch tank. Just need to find a decent inlet breather delete pipe.

Can not comment on the intake pipe but I have a viper I/C -throttle body pipe although the quality of the material was good the thing was to long and I had to cut about a quarter of it off :razz:
Saying that the intake pipe looks very impressive and if it fits might add a little bit of performance so good luck.
