I think the pump is ok mate its just the fitting kit that may be different. See this link, it's a GSS342 pump being sold for a Scoob

hmm. i guess ill have to take mine out and try it then.. Looks like its just the pump and it fits to all the fittings. Cant imagine the wiring is any different.. will give it a go see what happens.

Anything i should be looking for/checking? How can i check the pressure its kicking out is good enough? Buy a pressure regulator?

Do you already have a Walbro fitted then??? If so then no probs just swap the pump unit:thumb:. If not then i'm pretty sure you will need a fitting kit of some sort.

As for testing it, i wouldn't know where to start :lol1:

Nope.

Basically my bro broke his Evo 4 which had said walbro. Mines got stock pump, so if i can fit his then that would save me 70 quid.

What are the actual fittings that are required? Anything i can fab in the garage?

How do people know they are getting enough fuel then? get a remap and they should be able to see if its leaning off towards the top end?

Ive seen in engine fuel pressure gauges/regulators. Is that what i need to monitor the fueling or do i need an AFR gauge. Or do i just shuv it in and get the OK from the mapper (as it needs doing before a remap)?

What does a typical fitting kit actually come with. Fromt he picture, i can wire something up if needed, and it already has the filter cover bit which looks identicle.

Guess its just a case of take out the steats, undo the bolts in the access hatch, flit it up/unplug it. Hopefully there will be room in the fuel lines to pull it all out.

Any tips people?
