...to stop them flying around in my my00 saloon. How have you done it? I've managed to break my plastic-bodied tyre pump and the Mrs is fed up with eggs coming back from the shop pre-scrambled!

Was thinking of some kind of netting, or a "boot tidy" type of thing. Suggestions of taking corners more slowly will be rejected immediately...

Thanks. Looks promising, but I'm not sure my my00 has the attachment points that the WRX does. I'll investigate in daylight...

Used to have a real problem with this until........

Just nip down to your local garage/b&Q etc and buy one of those large plastic boxes and also one long bungi strap. Cut the bungi in half, drill a hole at both ends of the box and thread the bungi through before tying a knot to stop it coming out. You should adjust the length of the bungi's so they just reach there respective sides of the boot(Hook onto chassis just in front of rear seat)and hey presto......no broken eggs:D....Hopefully, unless its an STi in which case it's impossible !!!!

Hope these mad ramblings are of help

I use one of these cut-to-size non slip mats available from Halfords for less than a tenner and have a large cardboard box sitting in the centre of it. Groceries etc are then packed in and around the box and nothing moves - the mat works really well :)

Get a boot liner from argos or similar attatches to the seat and has loadsa pockets etc, dunno how good they are tho :)

I can recommend the bootliners that attach to the back of the seats. I suggest you look at AutoExpress.co.uk cos they did a product test on these just before Xmas.
I also have some collapsable storage crates, nicked from my Dad's garage. I got some velcro pads from Halfords and stuck it to the boot floor with them. I remove them whenever I need the space and then just drop the box back onto the velcro when done.

That elastic net thingy does fit the my00 - you replace a couple of the plastic trim clips with screw on hooks as supplied. I ordered it with some foglight protectors and other stuff, since the additional cost to the order was negligible. Only available in america though and it took forever to turn up. There are a lot of roundabouts between me and Sainsbury's and I no longer have to repack my shopping on my driveway.
